Dear friends,

 

Nod Hill Brewery is happy to announce that on Saturday, June 8th, 2019, we will be making special offerings to the community that will benefit the not-for-profit Ann’s Place, Cancer Support Center in Danbury, CT in honor of Cancer Survivor Month and in honor of those we have lost.

About Lauren:

Lauren Chiarello is the founder of Chi Chi Life which melds her passions: fitness, event production + fundraising, corporate wellness + cancer advocacy.

 

She is a 2x cancer thriver of Hodgkin's Lymphoma, fitness instructor, marathoner + event producer who pours her heart + soul into each project she touches.

About Sarah:

Sarah Zitnay is Nod Hill’s do-almost-everything gal from bartender, to bookkeeper, brainstormer, and oft-times beer-namer…and behind the scenes, since the brewery was just an idea.  

 

Sarah is a regular yoga instructor at the Ridgefield Recreation Center, holding a 200-hour teaching certificate from Kula Yoga Project NYC.

 

She also offers pop up yoga right in Nod Hill’s taproom. Classes are offered in the spirit of curiosity, self-care, community and heart. More about Sarah here.

tea will be offered in the brewhouse at 10:30 am to those participants who would like to do the first class (but not the second) and stay on-site.  taps open to participants at 11:30 am; the public at noon

a portion of sales from the day's charity tap will be happily donated by Nod Hill to Ann's Place...

the CLASSES

9:45-10:30 am with Lauren Chiarello

“Brewery Bar(re)” is a dynamic core strength class inspired by Pilates, Barre, Yoga. We'll focus on arms, thighs, glutes + abdominals -- tailored to YOUR needs! During Lauren's energizing class, you'll tap into your inner athlete, find grace + unleash razor-sharp determination.

10:45 - 11:30 am  Stretch and Open with Sarah Zitnay

We will call upon some basic stretches both from within and outside the yoga tradition.  No experience necessary. We will seek to deepen our connection to ourselves by giving time and space to the breath and the body.  We will move towards observing our minds and our hearts. We will enjoy the comfort of a mutually agreed upon safe space, and best of all, have a little fun.
